Lilac Homes Inc. has a legacy rooted in over 35 years of excellence in custom home building. Founded by Robert Fumo as Robert Fumo Construction Limited, the company was an Ontario Home Warranty-licensed builder dedicated to quality craftsmanship. In 2000, Robert’s son, Chris, joined the business, bringing his combined expertise in construction and technology. In 2016, the company evolved into Lilac Homes Inc., as it is known today.
Over the years, we have designed and built many unique, one-of-a-kind custom homes, drawing from our deep industry knowledge and hands-on experience.
Robert was a resident of the Barrie area for 50 years, during which he honed his construction expertise through new home and commercial projects, as well as property investments across Barrie, Collingwood, and surrounding communities.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert was deeply devoted to family and generous to many. His strength—both physical and mental—along with his mentorship and unwavering generosity, left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to learn from him. His legacy continues to inspire our work at Lilac Homes Inc.
